Seal Rescue Ireland
Seal Rescue Ireland (SRI) is a charity organisation that works around the clock to rescue, rehabilitate and release native seal pups found sick, injured or orphaned from across the coast of Ireland.
Keep an eye on SRI’s Facebook page and website for upcoming events such as seal releases, beach cleans, volunteer training events and more. SRI also offers exciting programmes including school tours, birthday parties, and ‘behind the scenes’ experiences.

Seal Rescue Ireland’s Visitor Centre is open to the public 7 days per week for free tours of the animal hospital and education centre. Join us for a unique, educational experience for all ages, and come meet the seal pups, learn their stories, and adopt your favourite seal!
As the only seal rescue centre in the Republic of Ireland, the centre responds to reports nationwide and aims to rehabilitate the pups to full health so that they can be released back into the wild.
SRI is active in educating visitors on threats facing marine life and promoting ocean conservation and sustainability in order to protect our seas and all who inhabit them.
SRI strives to forge a connection between the public and our marine mammal patients, to raise awareness about pressing environmental issues including climate change, ocean pollution and threats to biodiversity, to protect our seals in the wild.
SRI’s work is made possible almost entirely due to the dedication of volunteers and the generosity of public donations.
